The popularity of the Western Pleasure and the precision of the Performance Halter are two areas of expertise for CFO Jeff Thomas. (That’s not just our opinion, he placed 9th in the WORLD for 2013!)
Jeff loved horses and became passionate about competitions early in his life; he even started showing horses in the 8th grade. When you love something, practice makes perfect, and on the weekends, that is exactly what Jeff is doing: training on his farm in Collinsville, just east of Denton.
When interviewed, Jeff said that the most difficult part of the competition is staying one step ahead of your horse by anticipating their every thought and reaction. The consistent, hard work that Jeff puts into his horses has been evident in previous years as well. In 2009, Shez So Certain won the Hylton Maiden Three Year Old & Over Western Pleasure Premiere Signature Class and ranked 3rd in the world.
