I want all Alpha to know that we tried something new this year in DFW. Typically, at year end, we buy and deliver client appreciation gifts for a significant number of people who entrust their engineering to the Alpha team. When we added up the number of clients who normally receive something from us at Christmas, we realized something – that the funding required for these gifts could instead make a huge difference in many lives.
Alpha donated all the funds that we have typically spent on Christmas cards and year end gifts to a local children’s charity, Jonathan’s Place. Jonathan’s Place houses 25 children in need due to abuse or neglect, and they have 50+ children in foster care for the same reasons.
We have sent letters to our clients letting them know that a) we did not forget them! and b) that we made this donation in their honor with the goal of significantly impacting young lives.
