Alpha’s Jacob Wadlington and Alberto Flores, both on the Business Development team in Dallas, volunteered at the WEAT-NTS Clay Shoot on Friday, March 11. Those of us indoors that day might not recall the rain, but for those outside at the Dallas Gun Club – it sure did rain! But the weather didn’t put a damper on the activity at the Clay Shoot and definitely didn’t stop Jacob and Alberto. These two held umbrellas, operated the skeet shoot, put up signs, and attempted to stay dry. This will be Alpha’s sixth time to sponsor the clay shoot, which benefits the Water Environment Association of Texas Scholarship fund. What will be in store next year?
Our Fort Worth office hit the 10 year mark last week and to celebrate, lunch was catered and the VP stopped by. Ken Combs presented plaques to Tim Begole and Robert Begole, Jr. for their ten years of leadership and guidance at the Fort Worth office. Congrats on the decade status Fort Worth! AND a congratulations and thank you to both Begoles for making it all possible!
What happens at the Dallas Alpha office when it rains all day? Not too much outside, but we don’t let the rain slow us down INSIDE the office! The CMT department used the inclement weather as a chance for some training with the team.

It was a winning Saturday at the Revenge of the Nerds: Engineers Week 5K in San Antonio. The run benefited a STEM focused scholarship for high school students and there was some definite Alpha domination on the 3 mile loop. Philip Johnson, PE and five Alpha engineering interns from UTSA tackled the 5K… and from the looks of it, doesn’t seem like this was their first rodeo. Philip took 2nd for his age group, Jonathon claimed 1st in his, and Megan won first overall female!
