If you think the Rio Olympic events are impressive, the efforts at MobilePack events for Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) might be a solid contender. The non-profit organization provides MannaPack meals to malnourished and starving children around the world. In order to create those MannaPacks, FMSC created MobilePack events, and the production is astounding. Alpha’s Jacob Wadlington was a part of the assembly line of volunteers on Friday at the “Turn Hunger into Hope” Dallas MobilePack. In just a single 2-hour shift, the team produced over 95,900 meals – helping FMSC reach their goal of 1 million for the weekend. That alone takes the gold medal. Want to volunteer your time at FMSC?
