MST Alumni in the Making

Last week, our Senior Geotechnical Engineer and Missouri S&T alumni, David Schledorn, P.E. was a guest speaker at Burns & McDonnell in Dallas for a group of high school seniors interested in studying engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology. David earned his B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from Missouri S&T and shared his industry wisdom and college experience with the seniors and their parents. His presentation on “My Missouri S&T Experience and How it Helped Me in my Professional Career”, included topics on problem solving, judgement in the practice of engineering, and the importance of having good technical writing skills.
