The topping- off is typically marked by signing the last beam, ribbon-cuttings, and even hoisting a tree to the top! Alpha Testing’s Phil Johnson and Emily Keller partook in the beam signing tradition for Ryan Company’s Waterfront project in Austin, TX. Alpha was entrusted with the geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing for Phase I, which encompassed two 5-story office buildings and a 7-story parking garage.
