Redeem the Stream

Alpha TestingAlpha’s Alberto Flores and his wife gave their Saturday morning to help clean up the Trinity River at the Redeem the Stream: Dallas River Cleanup, put on by the North Texas American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the Water Environment Association of Texas (WEAT). Volunteers paddled and hiked their way around the Green Belt of the Elm Fork – a floodplain area of the Trinity that is a collection point for trash. In just one morning, volunteers freed the Green Belt from 5,580 pounds of trash and debris! Now that’s redeeming.Alpha Testing
