Alpha Testing’s Dallas office collected food for the North Texas Food Bank as part of their Thanksgiving celebrations this year. The items donated will feed over 120 families in our north Texas community. Thank you to all who donated, and to Karen Rodriguez, SHRM-CP for organizing the food drive!

The week after Thanksgiving usually entails eating the same thing over and over until you are tired of turkey. We found a few tasty recipes that use your leftovers to spice up brunch or dinner.
Stuffing Waffles, Turkey Frittatas, or Eggs Benedict with Stuffing Cakes will be perfect fuel before you go Black Friday shopping. For dinner, how about Turkey Pot Pie, Leftover Casserole, Mashed Potato Cakes, Turkey Chili, Sliders or Pizza?

After the events of 9/11, the owners of Porter’s Army Navy a family owned and operated store in Irving, TX, recognized that many of their customers were looking for a way to help, but didn’t know where to start. In response to this need, the Porter family started Unite for Troops, an annual event and Veteran’s Day celebration held to raise money and collect items for care packages to send to our troops overseas.
Alpha Testing’s Diana Rohrback, herself a veteran, organized Alpha’s contributions to this year’s event, which included donating food and personal care items for care packages as well as purchasing raffle tickets to help with some of the shipping costs for the care packages.
Unite for Troops sends the Alpha family a big THANK YOU for all of the donations!
