The Alpha Pitmasters

Congratulations to the KS2-Alpha Testing BBQ team on their recent wins at the Scott W. Muennink Memorial BBQ Throwdown. The team took first place in fajitas, first place in chicken, and was named the Grand Champion of the event! Next up is the 29th Annual Jourdanton VFD BBQ Cook-Off May 17th-18th. Congratulations, guys, and good luck in Jourdanton!

Have an Egg-scellent Easter!

Happy Easter from Alpha Testing®! Here are some of the awesome entries from our first (but hopefully not last!) egg decorating contest. From animals and insects, to noteworthy pop culture themes, everyone who participated did an amazing job showcasing their arts & crafts skills.

We wish all employees along with their families & friends a blessed Easter weekend!

Whistle Britches!

Recently, Alpha’s Karlee Rios visited a popular spot in Plano right outside the Shops at Willowbend called Whistle Britches! Open for brunch, lunch and dinner, this is a perfect place to get biscuits, fresh fruit and specialty chicken dishes like a Hot Dang Chicken sandwich or Sir Mix a Lot Biscuit. This restaurant is new to the DFW area but has been featured on Guy Fieri’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” for bringing the heat back to unique brunch entrées.

If you’re in Dallas or Plano, stop by one of the two locations to taste what’s happening at Whistle Britches!

Fossasti’s Delicatessen

Alpha Testing’s Chris Pape was in Victoria, TX this week, and stopped for lunch at the oldest deli in Texas! Established in 1882, Fossasti’s Delicatessen is part western saloon, part New York deli. Have a seat at the spittoon-style bar, order yourself a root beer (in a frosted mug of course!), and enjoy one of their many specialty sandwiches. Finish up with some peach cobbler, and you’re all set to head home! For more information on Fossati’s, head to their Facebook page!
